Fundraising Event
Ulphat Welfare Organization hosted its annual fundraiser, “Muskurate-Sitare,” at Skyloft, The Place, DHA Phase-8 on March 26, 2022. Attended by over 250 supporters, including children aided by Ulphat for heart surgeries, the event featured live music, impactful speeches from community leaders, charity representatives, and the children themselves. Volunteers dedicatedly orchestrated the event’s success. Dr. Nuzhat Faruqui expressed gratitude in a closing speech. This event significantly raised funds for various causes and highlighted Ulphat’s impactful community work, emphasizing the profound difference made in beneficiaries’ lives.
Iftar & Gift Distribution
For a decade, Ulphat has effectively organized iftar events and distributed gifts. The events, hosted at Al-Mohsin Orphanage, aimed to offer a nurturing atmosphere for children during Ramadan. Over 100 kids attended, welcomed warmly by Ulphat volunteers who had dedicated weeks of preparation. The ambiance was celebratory, filled with laughter and conversations. Children relished a delightful array of traditional Ramadan dishes, sweets, and refreshing juices.
The events included a range of fun-filled attractions such as a jumping castle, a mesmerizing magic show, face painting, distribution of Eid suits and sandals, along goody bags for the kids. The event concluded with a prayer and gratitude expressed to all, showcasing the community’s support for these children in need. Ulphat volunteers are applauded for creating this memorable experience.
ULPHAT Welfare Organization Participates in Pakistan Cultural Festival 2024 to Raise Awareness for Its Cause
ULPHAT Welfare Organization proudly announces its participation in the Pakistan Cultural Festival 2024, a renowned event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan. This festival, attracting thousands of attendees, provides a unique platform for ULPHAT to highlight its mission and ongoing initiatives in the health and welfare sector.
Since 2009, ULPHAT has been working tirelessly to support vulnerable communities, particularly children with pediatric and complex curable diseases. The organization has organized 322 free medical camps, offering healthcare services and free medicines to over 195,000 individuals, and has helped over 800 children receive life-saving treatments.
By participating in the Pakistan Cultural Festival 2024, ULPHAT aims to increase public awareness about its cause and encourage support for its mission to provide healthcare to underserved populations. The festival presents an opportunity for attendees to learn more about ULPHAT’s programs, engage with volunteers, and contribute to the cause.
